Nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, the Motor Car Traders Act 1986 (Vic), or any other law that cannot be contracted out of. Where anything here conflicts with those rights, those rights win.

Our vehicles come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Depending on the vehicle you may also have the benefit of the Victorian statutory used-car warranty, and a cooling-off right after signing a contract of sale with a licensed trader. Those rights have conditions and exceptions set by law, and the current detail is published by Consumer Affairs Victoria — we’d rather point you at the regulator than paraphrase a statute. Ask us and we will go through how they apply to the specific car.

Vehicle details are published in good faith from our own records and our inspection of the car. Specifications, features, build dates and history should be confirmed with us before you rely on them.

Where a figure has not been verified we show a neutral placeholder rather than an estimate. An odometer reading described as photographed was read from an instrument-cluster photograph in that vehicle’s own gallery; one described as supplied came from our records and is not shown in the photographs.

Photographs show the actual vehicle unless stated otherwise. Colours may vary slightly with screen calibration.

Advertised prices exclude government charges — stamp duty and the registration transfer fee — which are payable by the buyer on top of the advertised figure. The ~ figure beside each price is an estimate of those two charges, worked out from the advertised price. Duty is assessed on market value, so the amount payable is confirmed at the contract of sale. Every vehicle is supplied registered and with a Roadworthy Certificate. Prices may change without notice, and the figure on the contract of sale is the one that applies.

Where a price is not shown, the vehicle is priced on enquiry. Vehicle details are provided in good faith from our records and inspection; confirm anything you intend to rely on before purchase.

Listing a vehicle on this site is an invitation to enquire, not an offer to sell. A sale is made only under a signed contract of sale.

A one-year complimentary warranty is included with every vehicle we sell, subject to the warranty provider's terms, conditions and exclusions. It is in addition to — and does not limit, exclude or replace — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and Victorian motor car trader legislation. Ask us for a copy of the full warranty terms before you buy.

Finance is arranged through third-party lenders. All applications are subject to lender assessment, approval, terms and conditions, fees and charges. Ripper Cars does not provide credit and does not guarantee approval. Nothing on this website is financial advice or a credit quote.

An enquiry made through this site is not a credit application and is not an offer of credit. We don’t collect your licence number, income, expenses or bank details through this website.

Any valuation given through this website is a preliminary assessment based on the information you supply. It is not an offer. A binding figure is given only after we physically inspect the vehicle, and may differ if the car is not as described.

How we handle the information you send us is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

The Ripper Cars name, logo, photography and site content are our property or used with permission. You may look at them, share a link, and print a page for your own use. Please don’t reproduce, republish or use them commercially without asking us first.

Where we link to another site — a map, a lender, a review profile, a social page — we don’t control it and we’re not responsible for its content, its accuracy or its privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

We aim to keep the site available and current, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice.

To the extent the law allows — and subject always to the consumer guarantees described above — we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information published here that we have told you to confirm with us.
